Do you find you just don’t have the time at home to complete your craft projects? Do you need space to be able to spread out your supplies? Would you like to get away from the big city and come out to a small country town for some fresh air and a laidback, welcoming atmosphere. Maybe, best of all, do you just want to go spend a fun weekend with your girlfriends?
If you answered yes to any (or all) of these questions, then Lacewing Creative Retreat is for you! Our ladies only retreat accommodates up to 13 women who wish to get away from the stress of day-to-day life for a relaxing weekend to enjoy their craft projects. Need a little more relaxation while you are here? We offer a private massage room where you can sign up to to have a registered massage therapist melt those anxieties away.
Every lady at the retreat will have her own work space in one of our two craft rooms, which includes a smooth table, comfy office chair, adjustable lamp, and much more. Spread out your photos, fabric, paper, jewelry or whatever you love. The best part is you can leave it on the table until Sunday!
Lacewing is situated inside the historic and charming city of Jefferson, which is the 5th oldest city in Texas, and is located only 5 minutes from downtown. Jefferson boasts natural beauty with tall pine trees and the Big Cypress Bayou winding through the town. It has several antique shops, boutique stores, unique restaurants, historic homes, and several museums and tours, so there is plenty to do and see if you need a break from crafting. Jefferson hosts frequent events like Mardi Gras and Christmas Candlelight Home tours as well as quilting/craft shows and even a Big Foot Festival.
